Antegods is a fast-paced arena action game in which ancient civilizations have taken to space. Two teams of four pilots control enormous ‘totem’ statues, collecting energy in procedurally generated environments, trying to activate an even bigger ‘titan’ statue. Whoever wins these tactical battles climb an intergalactic tournament ladder, ultimately becoming gods themselves.
At Codeglue I was part of the three-headed core team of Antegods. We had a programmer, a designer and me, the artist.
I would come up with creative solutions and ideas, concept them and turned them into ingame assets. Also I took ownership of the creation of the logo, marketing art, etc.
The ingame materials were created mostly with Substance Designer. During the course of this project I guided a lot of Game Art interns.
